Los Hornets obtienen el N°1 del Draft/Hornets obtain N°1 Pick in NBA Draft

El sorteo del Draft 2012 de la NBA decidió que la primera elección la tenga New Orleans Hornets. Seguramente, la franquicia elegirá a Anthony Davis.  Nada mejor para Davis que ser elegido por un equipo en reconstrucción. 

The lottery for the 2012 NBA Draft decided that New Orleans Hornets have the first election. Surely the franchise select Anthony Davis. Nothing better to Davis to be elected for a rebuilding team. 

Con la partida de Chris Paul a los Clippers, New Orleans recibió a Eric Gordon, Al-Farouq Aminu y Chris Kaman. En la segunda mitad de esta temporada, los Hornets tuvieron un récord de 11-12. Teniendo a Okafor y agregándole a Davis, New Orleanas puede ser un equipo para temer, especialmente en la pintura. Además poseen la elección N° 10, que seguramente la utilizarán para un base. Las opciones son Kendall Marshall o Damian Lilliard. Un quinteto inicial posible podría ser Marshall/Lilliard-Gordon-Bellinelli-Davis-Okafor. 

With the departure of Chris Paul to Clippers, New Orleans adquired Eric Gordon, Al-Farouq Aminu and Chris Kaman. In the second half of this season, the Hornets had a 11-12 record. With Okafor and adding Davis, New Orleans can be a team to fear, especially in paint. They also have N° 10 overall pick, which surely will use it for a point guard. The options are Kendall Marshall or Damian Lillard. A possible starting lineup could be Marshall/Lillard-Gordon-Bellineli-Davis-Okafor.

Finalmente Charlotte, que tenía un 25% de chances de tener el N° 1, obtuvo la segunda posición. Washington tendrá la tercera elección y Cleveland la cuarta. Los Cavaliers también es un equipo a tener en cuenta para la próxima temporada. Ya cuentan con Irving y Thompson y podrán agregar otro buen jugador a su plantilla. La franquicia busca un alero. Los objetivos son Michael Kidd-Gilchrist o Harrison Barnes. 

Finally Charlotte, who had a 25% chance of having the No. 1, was second. Washington have the third choice and Cleveland, the fourth pick. Cavaliers will also a team to consider for next season. They already have Irving and Thompson and may add another good player to their roster. The franchise is looking for a small forward. The objective are Michael Kidd-Gilchrist or Harrison Barnes.
